There are only a few of each color combination, and each piece is numbered and signed. The woodcut is printed using the mosaic technique: After the motif is carved into the wooden plate, the plate is sawn apart into a puzzle. Each "piece" can then be colored individually before the plate is reassembled and printed. A beautiful
