The grapes come from vineyards in Venosa, Maschito, and Forenza at altitudes of 450550 meters, where the volcanic soil and cool nights provide the wines with structure and energy. The 2022 vintage appears precise and focused with a clear imprint of the area's dark minerality. In the glass, the wine is deep ruby red. The aroma opens with dark cherries,
