Caroline Morey, Criots Batard Montrachet Vintage:2018 (this limited two barrel cuvée(from a parcel of ~. 13 ha). Relatively strong sulfur influence buries everything but a whiff of the exotic. Otherwise the large scaled flavors are rich to the point of opulence thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that also buffers the notably firm acid spine shaping the citrus zest inflected finish. This isnt necessarily more complex than the Caillerets so much as it has even better underlying material that should ultimately make for the
