Description
orange zest and blanched almond mix with floral and light toast notes in this fresh version
A ripe and agreeably fresh nose offers up notes of red currant and plum liqueur
Is this the best vintage since 1990 or perhaps 1978
The patently sauvage-inflected aromas possess better layering that includes plum
which is ripe and rounded
Olivier Merlin, Pouilly Fuisse Clos De France Size:6x750ml orange zest and blanched almond(from Vergisson). More subtle wood toast is present on the moderately reduced nose so be sure to give this some air if youre tempted to try a bottle young. Otherwise, there is fine richness to the succulent and caressing middleweight flavors that also conclude in a citrusy and bone dry finish that is better balanced. Worth considering provided you can give it a few years of cellaring.
