Gentle punchdowns were employed throughout the fermentation to encourage a soft extraction of tannins and the wine was aged in 30% new French oak for 16 months

Quinta de la Rosa douROSA 2015 Food ripe and suppleTraditional port varieties, mainly 52% Touriga Nacional with the remaining amounts other mixed varieties (Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Co). Rich and full bodied yet fresh and lively with good acidity. Quite rustic. Fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness.
