Very drying
The palate's lively bead is tightly-meshed with notes of green apple
Note too that this will also require plenty of patience if perhaps not quite so much as the Chambertin
3 ha parcel of 30+ year old vines on the Chassagne side
velvety textures and ocean of licorice
Gerard Mugneret, Vosne Romanee Suchots Vintage:2016 Very drying(from 40+ year old vines). There is just enough reduction to hide all but subtle floral and spice wisps. The round, delicious and velvet textured middle weight plus flavors manage to retain a lovely sense of both detail and energy, all wrapped in a refined and again youthfully austere finish. This is also really lovely and very Suchots in character and in contrast to the Brles, a wine that should be reasonably approachable in its youth. (90 93) 2026+
